Two Ingredient Pumpkin Dog Treat Recipe Popsicle

Dog Popsicles Treats a Two Ingredient Recipe
Dog Popsicles Treats a Two Ingredient Recipe
Made of Organic Pumpkin Puree

Hello Dog Lovers! I wanted to share this quick and easy frozen dog treat recipe that I have been making for the shelter where I volunteer! It is a one-ingredient dog treat! I say two in the title because you can add the “handle” of the popsicle with a long chewable treat, but it is not necessary.

Pumpkin is great for dogs because it is nutritious; it is packed with vitamins such as A, C, and E, and it also helps dogs soothe their stomachs because of its probiotic and fiber content. It is very useful when dogs suffer from diarrhea. Nevertheless, you should give this tasty treat in moderation as too much can be bad as well.

Remember it’s a treat!

So now that you know all this, get in the mood and feel inspired to start making something yummy for your dog! Get in the mood first, by wearing any dog-related fashion gear.

I can personally help you with the dog paw pendant, that I made. Here are a couple of other nice items I found, including a pet-inspired apron and the dog paw silicone mold.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can organic pumpkin can puree
  • 1 Long bone chewable treat of your choice
  • Dog silicone mold or ice cube tray

Instructions

Open the can of organic pumpkin, and with a spatula place the pumpkin puree in the paw silicone mold until it is flush to the edge.

After that, place a long treat (or half of it if you want), in the middle of the mold, and freeze it overnight or until it is hard to the touch.

Voila!

A perfect, healthy, and easy treat for any time of the year!
